Group Classes are offered based on student interest. Our most common classes are teen and pre-teen Guitar and all ages Mountain Dulcimer. Classes can be on-going or for a defined period of time. Please let Ken know your interests.
Workshops are a one time introduction to an instrument or group of instruments. They are usually held on Saturday mornings and no previous musical experience is necessary.
Workshops are open to all ages, instruments
are provided and they are always a lot of fun.

Mountain Music Jamboree - You will play a song on the mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer,
autoharp, bowed psaltery and saw. No kidding!
Bring your saw from the shed if you want to.

Hammered Dulcimer - One of the oldest instruments there is, it evolved into the modern piano. We'll discuss tuning, hammer technique, playing a melody, harmony and embellishments. It isn't difficult when you know the secrets.

Harmonica - Your life will never be the same.
The harmonica was invented in the mountains of Germany but we'll be playing Appalachian
Mountain Music. You may keep the Harmonica
